| I use these batteries for my keyless entry of my car. Great buy to have extras in case battery fails when you are traveling, late night...etc. |

| We have had an Avalon for almost 3 years. A few weeks ago I found that my key fob no longer worked. I found out how to open it and got the battery type and ordered a set from Amazon. They arrived quickly. I installed the new one in my fob and it works just fine. About a week later my wife's fob failed. I installed new battery in hers also. Now I am looking forward to three more years of fob operation. In case you have one of these and the battery goes dead here is the procedure for starting your vehicle. Make sure all doors are closed. Touch fob logo side facing start button on the start button. You will hear a beep. Step on the brake and press start button within 5 seconds. Use the key inside the fob to lock/unlock doors. Oh yes the key inside the fob can be used to pry open the fob for battery installation. Do that carefully. |
